Disclaimer: I'm not going to pretend to be neutral about this one. I believe in defending your country. I believe in standing up when your neighbors won't leave you alone. And I believe a man like Francisco Rodriguez—who left everything he knew, made a new home here, and gave his life defending it—deserves more than a folded flag and a few paragraphs in somebody's travel guide.

I didn't know him. I wish I had. But I know men like him, and I know what it costs to raise your hand and say I'll go first. If you're the kind of person who's ever wondered whether you have that in you, Utopia could use you. Don't let it be for nothing.
