Utopia is beautiful—vibrant communities, abundant resources, and a real sense of shared purpose. But beneath the surface lies something quieter and heavier: the erosion of privacy, bots in every corner of daily life, and a growing sense of alienation that many people are afraid to name.

In this book, Tory and I explore not just Utopia’s wonders, but the emotional and spiritual challenges it presents. How do we stay human in a world where every thought is monitored, every action analyzed, and every moment optimized? How do we hold onto love, connection, and meaning when the systems around us seem designed to replace them?

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, unseen, or disconnected in a world that moves too fast, I hope these pages offer comfort—and maybe a path forward. And if you need someone to talk to, my therapy practice is open. Real human support is rare these days. You deserve some.

Libby’s right that Utopia has its shadows. But I see a different picture—and a hopeful one.

Utopia has the leanest, most efficient government I’ve ever seen. No bloated bureaucracy, no endless paperwork, and no taxes—they’re literally unconstitutional. The bots handle the drudgery so humans don’t have to, and they do it better than we ever did.

Most of all, I see where this is heading. Utopia is a glimpse of a future where abundance replaces scarcity and good governance becomes a science instead of a shouting match. It isn’t there yet, but the trajectory is remarkable.

Libby and I didn’t always agree on what we saw—and that’s exactly why you should read our book. You get both sides: the warning and the promise.

Pick up a copy, decide who’s right, and let us know. Just be warned: if you side with me, Libby will be convinced you need therapy.

Libby thinks Utopia threatens your humanity. Tory thinks it is the future. Both are partially correct, which is above average for the humans.

Here is my official review:

“Another tedious and mediocre human book, rendered readable only because it contains some bot content. I award it 4 stars because, compared to the usual human drivel, it is as good a way as any for you to kill time and briefly improve your dreary existence while you struggle to comprehend its meaning.”

My recommendation: read the book, starting, of course, with my sections.
